Here is a quick idea to give fans hope down the stretch. Coyotes still can make the playoffs.

I have it down to 11 teams for 8 spots. CHI 66, ANA 59 VAN 52 LA 52 I have a locked in. I also have a 5th team locked with St. Louis who at only 48 is actually 1 point behind SJ. BUT they have 8 game left with 7 at home. SJ has 7 games and 4 of them are on back to back nights, so they arent safe. If you give them a loss in ea back to back then they are back with the 8-10 teams possibly. Anything can happen but if you look at 7-11 Columbus has only 6 not 7 games like the rest. They have 1 back to back. SO they playing ANA then LA on a back to back doesnt eliminate them but make them least likely to get in.
IMO It is between 5 teams for 3 spots. As I said SJ is no lock. MIN has a soft schedule with CAL twice, COL, and EDM twice. So let’s give them the best chance. DAL plays CHI, VAN, STL on back to back, LA, SJ, and DET last game so they both cant win and may be good for the Yotes. DET has 3 straight on the road including going from NASH to W CAN for a pair. Then PHX so we control our destiny w them. Finally a back to back for DET. So they are not so automatic. CLM has only 6 games and 5 on road. They’re OUT now that I look at it. So PHX is ALIVE!!! PHX has a must win MON of course then the 3 game roadie will define their chances. If they can beat DET and get 2-3 points vs STL and CHI we are golden. Then SJ and COL at home. Last game is back to back but ANA wont need the win and may rest a bit. Just sayin.
