It’s on, L.A.

This evening. September 16, 2014. 6p.m. (Pacific time, duh.)

The Arizona Coyotes rookies are going to put on a show for fans, just weeks before the season truly begins, in a two-game rookie showcase against the L.A. Kings rookie team. It’s at Gila River Arena, it’s free, and it’s got some names skating out on the ice that you’ll probably be able to say “Hey! I watched him play for free before the season began!” when he’s scoring the OT winner against Chicago this winter.

In anticipation of the game, we want to know- which rookie do you think will be this first game’s MVP? Will it be Max Domi, who needs to prove he’s got what it takes to skate out with the team in October? Will it be Henrik Samuelsson, who has already scored in a rookie game thus far- and looks hotter than ever? Will it be Brendan Perlini, eager to make the roster?

Let us know! Head to the game- and if you can’t, we’ll be recapping it for you right here at HH.
