The 2015 Arizona Coyotes Development Camp is underway.

The future of the Arizona Coyotes took the ice in Scottsdale yesterday for the annual development camp. These young superstars will try to prove they have what it takes to skate at the next level. Twenty-nine prospects are taking part in this camp that goes from July 7th to July 9th. These players range from many backgrounds, as they all attempt to show the coaches why they deserve a roster spot on this year’s team.

Some familiar faces are taking part in this event, including each of the first round picks from the last three drafts. Don Maloney made it clear during the town hall meeting that there are a few spots on the roster that are open. You never know who will impress the coaches each year.

The front-runners for the open spots with the Arizona Coyotes are pretty clear. Anthony Duclair already has experience at the professional level with the New York Rangers. His quick wrist shot is something that could be of use for the Desert Dogs. Another hopeful is Max Domi, who has had an amazing year with the London Knights. Domi’s offensive performance in the OHL (32 goals and 70 assists) has caught Dave Tippett’s attention as well.

These are the twenty-nine players invited to this year’s camp:
