The Arizona Coyotes are ready to take on the Los Angeles Kings in their 2015-2016 NHL season opener.

The anticipation and excitement are at an all-time high as the Arizona Coyotes hit the ice on Friday for their first NHL game of the new season. Even though their first game is not at Gila River Arena, the Coyotes have a tough match-up in their first game. The Arizona Coyotes travel to Los Angeles to take on the Los Angeles Kings on Friday, October 9th.

The Arizona Coyotes finished with a 1-3-0 record against the Los Angeles Kings last season. In those four games the Coyotes gave up a total of eleven goals (2.75 goals per game) and managed to tally five (1.25 goals per game) of their own. The Coyotes were shut-out by this squad twice out of those four games as well.
