The Arizona Coyotes announced the schedule for their 2016-17 season on Tuesday.

The Yotes are opening up the season on October 15th against Claude Giroux and the Philadelphia Flyers.
After the initial home game, the Arizona Coyotes go on the road for 6 straight before closing October at home again.

It’s also worth noting that the Arizona Coyotes home games on Saturday night will be at 6:00 PM again instead of 7:00 PM like last year.
With the schedule released and the draft just days away, the summer is finally heating up both literally and figuratively around the Yotes.
Arena Situation
Still looming on the horizon is the announcement of the franchise’s future arena plans.
Anthony LeBlanc and ownership have suggested that we would have the announcement of a new arena by the 2016 NHL Draft, however the draft is a mere three days away and we’ve seen no movement on that front.
It is very important for the team to have it’s ducks in a row on this situation by the time free agency starts on July 1st. Beyond that, it’s important for the fans to know what the next move will be.

One thing we can infer, however, is that the incessant peanut gallery comments about the Arizona Coyotes relocating are baseless.
You don’t purchase and move your AHL affiliate to the desert and then relocate the big club.
