With Arizona Coyotes training camp winding down and roster cuts being made, Christian Dvorak has definitely showed he is NHL material.

If the Arizona Coyotes must choose only one, then they should choose Team Dvorak.

Although Dylan Strome did look good during the rookie game, Christian Dvorak still shines brighter with consistently impressive play during rookie camp, as well as during preseason games.

He was especially impactful on his line shared with Radim Vrbata and Max Domi.

I would choose Dvorak over Strome. However, that may not be a decision that needs to be made by John Chayka with two center positions available.

With impressive skate work and speed, #18 is always in the center of plays.

You’ll often find him tangled up in the play or crashing the net. He’ll chase down loose pucks in order to rebuild the play again. He has been all over the ice.

For Max Domi’s goal against the Los Angeles Kings, Dvo was tangling up a Kings player in front of the net allowing Domi to get the shot off.

Dvorak should be guaranteed a spot on the Coyotes roster.

When talking to fans many are in agreement that Strome isn’t quite as impressive. He is hanging back, and isn’t catching eyes. Meanwhile Dvorak is attacking the puck.

Christian has 2 assists in the preseason, but is involved in every goal he is on the ice for whether he touches the puck or not.

During the Ducks game on October 1st, Christian Dvorak was teamed up with Max Domi and Anthony Duclair and the trio looked good. For a rookie, he had no problem keeping up with the Killer D’s.

Shane Doan, Dvorak and and Jakob Chychrun were the trio chosen to start for the Arizona Coyotes during overtime 3-on-3 hockey that night. The twenty-year-old nearly managed a chance to score on veteran goaltender Jonathan Bernier later in the frame.

He was then put out again with Doan, where he fed the captain a beautiful pass that lead to the game-winning goal and a Coyotes victory.

Big minutes for a rookie, and even bigger results.

If there’s anyone left arguing that Dvorak shouldn’t make the team, I’d love to hear why.

Christian is doing everything that Coach Tippett looks for in his players. He’s producing some points and impacts the play in some way every shift. This is what makes him a reliable and consistent player.

Dylan Strome has shown improvement in these past few games, getting involved in the play more and more.

Overall, however, Christian Dvorak has proven that for right now he is the better of the two players.
