The Arizona Coyotes are back in action tonight against the St. Louis Blues, and if history is going to repeat itself again settle in for a heart retching game.

Yesterday the Coyotes barely managed to sneak away with a victory after giving up 3 unanswered goals late in the game to the Washington Capitals. Arizona would have lost if it was not for a blown offsides call that ended up changing the outcome of the game in OT. (Howlin’ Hockey)

The Coyotes are going to need their leaders tonight against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Expect to see a lot of the young players turn to Phil Kessel, a champion in his own right. (Howlin’ Hockey)

If the Coyotes want to beat the defending Stanley Cup Champions they are going to play a complete game, we did not get to see a complete game the last few games but another opportunity is ahead.

St. Louis has found scoring opportunities despite missing Vladimir Tarasenko. In his absence players like Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron have really stepped up. The two have 19 and 18 points respectively this season and have shown no signs of slowing down. The Blues lead the league in a lot of categories, tonight’s game will be a testimony to how playoff-ready the Coyotes are.

No matter how the Coyotes do tonight or this month it is nice to know one member of the staff is in it for the long hall. GM John Chayka recently re-signed with the team to stay on as GM. Chayka has been an integral part of the Coyotes’ success and turns around. Hopefully, he can lead the team to a Stanley Cup sooner rather than later. (ESPN)
