The Arizona Coyotes are back in action today against the Edmonton Oilers, and we have your Morning Howl Report to prove it!

The Arizona Coyotes have another opportunity to catch some ground in the Pacific Division when they faceoff against the Edmonton Oilers later this afternoon. This game will come as a big test, as this is the first game since they dropped a game to the Vancouver Canucks just two nights ago. (Howlin’ Hockey)

There are a lot of ways a team can improve on the ice. One big way to get better, in my opinion, is by limiting bad plays that give up momentum. This is why I believe the Coyotes need to play more disciplined if they are to succeed in the regular season. (Howlin’ Hockey)

Vinnie Hinostroza and a number of other Coyotes players need to be better if this team is to have any chance this spring. I think the key to the Coyotes having scoring depth is by unlocking Hinostroza’s untapped potential, him and of course Nick Schmaltz, who should be playing center!(Howlin’ Hockey)

I really can’t wait for today’s game! The Coyotes and Oilers are separated by just two points, this division is wide open. The funny thing is I don’t remember the last time a division race was so close. By now, we often know who is going to end up on top, and yet here we are with 5 teams within 2 points of each other!
