The Arizona Coyotes need to come out flying today when they face off against the Edmonton Oilers.

Arizona has not been that hot as of late. They have dropped games against teams like Vancouver, Pittsburgh, and Carolina to name a few. The argument can be made that the team has lost due to injuries to their star goaltenders Antti Raanta and Darcy Kuemper, but at the same time, this team is better than that.

I don’t see the Coyotes failing too succeed because of just one or two players being out. This team is based on a very disciplined system, and the Coyotes have lost that as of late. Today the team has another opportunity to get back on track.

Edmonton has not played since Tuesday when they beat the Nashville Predators by a score of 4-2. Maybe the Coyotes can catch the Oilers off guard tonight, as the Oilers have not played since Tuesday. Either that or they will be well-rested and ready to go.

No matter what the Coyotes need to come out flying tonight against the Oilers. The last few games have not featured a great start for the Coyotes, that being said we need this team to come out ready to play! It is hard to win games when you are playing from behind. That is even truer when you look at this roster.

The Coyotes have a hard time playing from behind because that means they need to push even harder in the offensive zone. The team would rather catch opposing teams’ defenses sleeping to score, not push out to try and get something done.

Getting the first goal and keeping the lead is the best way to have the Coyotes win tonight. There are a lot of players that could score on this roster. Conor Garland, Taylor Hall, Nick Schmaltz, and Christian Dvorak can all score! So, let’s hope someone gets on the board early tonight.

Next. Coyotes need to play more disciplined. dark

I am really excited to see Hall return to Rogers Place tonight, as he was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers and spent the first few years of his career here. Puck drop is at 1 pm Mountain Time! Get excited Coyotes fans!
