Bryzgalov not in Denver tonight

The Coyotes will be without their starting goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov tonight in Denver when they face the Colorado Avalanche.  Bryzgalov’s absence is said to be due to a family matter and not because of the upper body injury that he suffered from the past couple of weeks.

With Bryz not on the active roster for tonight, the Coyotes recalled goaltender Matt Climie from the San Antonio Rampage.  In 21 games with San Antonio, Climie has a 14-7 record with a solid 2.53 GAA and .919 save percentage.  It remains unclear whether Climie or Jason LaBarbera will get the start in net tonight against the Avs.
