Within just hours of their game tonight against Columbus, the Coyotes have recalled right winger Brett MacLean from their minor league affiliate San Antonio Rampage. The winger will be in uniform tonight.

In his 50 games with San Antonio this season, Maclean has 49 points and a plus/minus of +13. He leads the Rampage in goals, points and shots and is second on the team in assists. He has played only two games with the big club so far this season. He scored a goal in his NHL debut back in December and then was held scoreless in a game back in January.

Bringing Maclean back on the roster was a must for Phoenix. Ray Whitney is day-to-day with a lower body and Scottie Upshall is serving the last game of his two-game suspension tonight.
