Something Is In The Air

The weather is starting to change, the MLB playoffs have begun and football is getting into a groove. Something is missing though, until this week! Hockey is finally back! NBC has season preview commercials, and every team is finishing up final rosters. This is arguably the best time of the year in sports. The NHL season begins with the out of country games. But more importantly, everyone is undefeated and every team has Stanley Cup hopes. The dreams of a Stanley Cup are certainly had in the desert. The confidence of Mike Smith becoming a consistent goaltender are strong, and high hopes of the offense clicking at the right moments. This is half of the excitement to the start of any season. As this week begins, we can suffer through another Monday knowing that the NHL begins this week. I have never wanted to see the shark tank so much. Here’s to having all the hopes and dreams in Glendale come true this season.
