Ask Not What Your Coyotes Can Do For You…

Now is the time of year the Phoenix Coyotes make their push to the playoffs. Currently in 7th place and hot, there is no reason they cannot win the Pacific Division and take 3rd place in the West. This would give them home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs. They are out there, playing hard, winning puck battles, sticking up for teammates. Doing it the hard way.

What the team needs us to do is support them. Buy a ticket to a game. Ask a coworker to join you in a night out. If you are in sales, take a customer to the game versus another steak dinner. What we need are bodies in the seats. Be a force for the opposition to notice and deal with. You heard the players talk after the Blackhawks game. How they loved playing for a packed house. They mention it every time there is one. Shane Jesus Doan and the boys notice when the stands are full. When the Toyota Club seats are occupied and the place is rocking. When “Let’s Go Coyotes” is heard outside the arena it is so loud.

Split a four pack of games with some friends. Your hockey team looking for something different. Bond at the hockey game. Let whomever buys the team (Please Shane, I mean Jesus, let it be Greg Jamison) know they are getting a team that fans attend the games. It must be seen to be realized. The only way the local media is going to find out about the only successful franchise in Arizona this year is by the press release from the Coyotes announcing a string of sellouts.

Ask not what the Coyotes can do for you, but what are you doing for your Coyotes?
