July 9th-Shane Doan and Greg Jamison Will Determine their Phoenix Coyote Futures

July 9th will be the day that Greg Jamison finds out if the 2 citizens of the city of Glendale have gathered enough signatures on a petition to force a vote on the professional services contract between the CoG and Jamison. It is nice to speculate that Goldwater has approached these two and coached them on how to get this on the ballot initiative. Is Jerry Moyes still on the board at Goldwater?

Once the petition debacle is over, Shane Doan will decide if his future is here or in another city. It’s pretty sad that Goldwater keeps meddling in this business situation but has been strangely silent on the $100 Million dollars the Cardinals receive from the taxpayers, or the spring training baseball facilities that were built for “private” teams with taxpayer money. Or the money the Diamondbacks receive from the City and state. Please go read the Coyotes PAC document that I posted the link to yesterday as the author has done a fantastic job of tracking money and influence within Goldwater and their reach into the political system of Arizona.

One thing is for sure, the Coyotes need to get a spouse of an executive on the board at Goldwater. Think of it as future protection. Surprised there is not a fight over the garbage route at Westgate.
