My comments: This means that Mr. Jamison can execute the deal with Glendale and then take control of the Coyotes from the NHL. Glendale will provide him with an immediate revenue stream that will help reduce the losses the team has experienced. The hundreds who work for the arena and Coyotes will continue to be employed and earn a living. The taxes on their payroll will continue to flow into Glendale. The hotels and restaurants will continue to employ staff, whose payroll taxes will stay in Glendale. The sales tax on the purchases stay in Glendale.
To say the City of Glendale cannot afford the Coyotes is economic ignorance. The City of Glendale can not afford to lose them.
