Well first of all I LOVE SPORTS. The passion. The drive. The teamwork. Mental focus. Brain lapses. So many twists and turns. Reality TV at it’s best. You have true heroes and role models. No matter what Charles Barkley says. Who I love. I, like him, am brutally honest. I will report everything I can from Game Preview, Post-Game Wrap, Player Spotlight, Old-School Flashbacks, etc. Not all will be winners. But I hope I can bring some fresh perspective. Insightful and Honest.
I fell in love with sports since age 5. When I was a kid it was all about the Dallas Cowboys, Phoenix Suns, and Cincinnatti Reds. Ok I was the youngest bandwagoner. But not having all major sports I took what I could. Still remember that year like it was yesterday. Sonny my Dad (Charles) taking me to the hoops court. I tossed it backwards. Missed abut 50 times. The first time I flipped it back and nailed that 2 footer. Something changed in me. Seeing my dad’s reaction was awesome. Then later at the Bowling alley after several gutterballs. It happened, STRIKE. Boom nailed in the back by my pops and almost went down the lane. It was so exciting. Next was Pop Warner, Little League, and YMCA Basketball.
