Arizona Coyotes Fan Playoff Profile: Ducks Ready To Clinch

Ducks Do It AGAIN ! ! This Time 5-4 In O/T After Again Trailing After Two Periods.. Sound Familiar Arizona Coyotes Fans?

Ok, one game I could see, then two games… I started to wonder…now after three consecutive games where the Amazing Anaheim Ducks have come back from the dead makes you wonder if they have a direct hotline with a supreme being. If the Ducks are feeling like Lazarus, it’s no wonder. Just when you count them out, they defy the odds, and repeat their last performance.

My fellow editor Nadia Aarchuletta at Mile High Sticking has similar comments on her adopted playoff team, the Ducks and why they will possibly sweep:

"“From the Ducks’ perspective, they’re doing everything right except that Cardiac Kids stuff. They need to stop going into the third trailing. That may be all fine and dandy against a team like the Jets, which is playing above its level, but it’s going to be disastrous in later rounds”"

"“The Ducks need to take their puck possession skills and translate that into dominating games. They have more than shown they have the talent and skill.”"

Nadia also wants to know:

“So, do you think the Jets have a chance of pulling out a win at home? If so, why do you think that? What’s it going to take for them to win and avoid being swept?”

To respond to Nadia, the Winnipeg Jets need to stop making defensive errors in their own end (gee, I wonder which team that reminds me of?… could it be my Arizona Coyotes?) and HOLD THE LEAD ! !

Unfortunately, the Ducks now hold not only the odds of taking it in four games, but they also have the psychological edge, since the Jets will be looking over their shoulders constantly wondering if the Ducks will overtake them.

They may win game four, but once a team gets a three games to zero lead it’s almost impossible to overcome.

Looks like the Winnipeg Jets are headed to the offseason sooner than they expected, like my Arizona Coyotes.

A team like the Ducks will go about their business, and continue to show that no lead against them is safe. They will move on, either in game four, or game five to play the winner of the Calgary vs Vancouver series, with Calgary up two games to one.

Kesler’s Comments:

Ryan Kesler was interviewed after the game, and listen to his comments about the locker room, and keep in mind this was stated on 420 day folks… opps!
