GUYS, IT’S SEPTEMBER.
Okay, I’m breathing now. The excitement has been contained. It’s all good.
The season is now only weeks away- the brand-new Arizona Coyotes play their first pre-season game on September 22nd, and the regular season starts for the desert dogs on October 9th. That’s practically tomorrow.

Of course, we all know that some games are more anticipated than others- and the Coyotes-Blackhawks matchups are no exception to this rule. The two may fall into separate divisions, but that doesn’t stop Arizona from circling January 20th on their calendars. The stoicism of Jonathan Toews versus the wisdom of Shane Doan… the wild eccentricity of Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw versus the all-over-the-place offense of Sam Gagner and Lauri Korpikoski… the blue line battle of Duncan Keith versus Keith Yandle and Oliver Ekman-Larsson. It’s gonna be insane.
As I’ve said, it’s never too early to predict what the season’s going to hold. Those of us at Howlin’ Hockey would rather give you the inside scoop- on our team and yours, us vs everyone- as early as possible. So without further ado, I give you the Arizona Coyotes vs Chicago Blackhawks, Fall 2014 Edition.
