Max Domi, The highly touted first round pick wont be making the jump to the NHL quite yet; according to multiple reports from TSN’s Bob Mckenzie and Pro Hockey Talk, he will be sent back to his junior team in the OHL the London Knights.

Domi put up 93 points in 61 games last season with the Knights, and he won’t turn 20 until March. Domi had seen a lot of playing time this preseason alongside veteran Martin Hanzal. Domi had put up four points in four games for the Coyotes this preseason.

For some this is a big shock, for a team in need of a scoring boost. Domi was the guy many looked to in order to provide that boost, but he will be providing that boost in the OHL for London.
