We are done with the first month of the NHL season, and with that comes a lot of great plays and moments. To celebrate the month that was in Coyotes nation, here are my top five plays of the Month in October.

Number 5: October 21st VS Nashville

Keith Yandle has been having a pretty good season. His offense is still on point to the tune of a team-leading nine points in nine games. That ranks him second among all NHL Defensemen (Brent Burns leads the league with 13 points).

His defense has also seemingly improved. The amount of times I have yelled at my TV “oh Yandle” has taken a drastic downward curb. His defense doesn’t get him on my list, though, but his lone goal of the season does. The goal itself may not have been the best, but it certainly came as a cool moment for Yandle. This goal against the Predators came in Yandle’s 500th career game and happened after a nice faceoff win.
