Checking In With Max Domi

We are officially a quarter of the way through the 2014-2015 NHL season.

With that being said, there is plenty of hockey yet to be played but it seems like yesterday we dropped the puck to begin the journey to Lord Stanley’s Cup. The Coyotes have been inconsistent to start off but there is plenty of time to turn it around. They are not out of it yet.

But for the time being let’s take a little break from the NHL action and look at one of the fan favorites of the Coyotes organization: Max Domi.

The last time we saw Max he was battling through the Coyotes preseason camp, ultimately being sent back down to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. Since then he has been named captain of the team, recorded a hat trick, and has scored a point in 19 of the first 21 games played. This kid has been tearing it up in the league as he leads the London Knights to a 15-8-0-0 record in the Midwest Division.

Through 21 games played; Domi has 12 goals, 35 assists, and 47 points.

Again, he is tearing it up. In fact, Max Domi happens to be tied for first in the league in assists with none other than Connor McDavid of the Erie Otters. Regarding points, Domi is third in the league with 47 points total.

Coyotes fans will not have to worry as I predict that Domi will be ready next season. His speed, dangles, and shots are exactly what the Coyotes need. He will be a fine asset in the future for sure.
