Some things take time to simmer, brew and — finally — become a reality.

A Winning Habit
Granted, the Coyotes don’t play the Eastern Conference teams that often but it’s been since October 28, 1996 that they’ve come away with a victory in Montreal.
(That would have dated back to when starting goalie Louis Domingue was a mere four years old, to put it into perspective.)
Speaking of Domingue — he recovered after allowing two goals from Alex Galchenyuk in the first 3:40 of regulation play to stop the next 18 shots and seal the victory for the Desert Dogs.
Lauri Korpikoski must be feeling as ecstatic as the New England Patriots do after netting two power play goals to ensure the much-needed win to bring the Coyotes their second victory of the road trip so far.
Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett had some supportive comments about the game:
“We had bad coverage on the first goal and a bad break on the second one, but we felt good about what we were doing,” coach Dave Tippett said.
“Guys were kind of smiling and upbeat after the second period, said, ‘If we get this next one, I think we’re going to win this game,'” Tippett said.
