Hockey is the only sport (besides mixed martial arts and boxing) where fighting is part of the game. At the expense of a five minute fighting penalty, players can mutually throw punches to settle their differences. As the years have gone on fighting has become a controversial aspect of hockey. Many people would like to see it out of the game completely.
Whether you love them or hate them, everyone can agree that they are entertaining to witness. The adrenaline and rush of a good versus evil battle puts the crowd on their feet. There is not a better feeling then watching your hometown hero clobber a rival player to the ice.
Fights are not foreign to the Arizona Coyotes team. Players like Shane Doan, B.J. Crombeen, and Kyle Chipchura enjoy electrifying the crowd at Gila River Arena by dropping the gloves. The Arizona Coyotes have recorded a total of 26 fights in the 2014-2015 season and Howlin’ Hockey has the first thirteen here for you.
The winners have been determined from polls done by hockeyfights.com.
