Last season featured many promotions that kept the fans howling for more. We saw opening night t-shirts, fleece blankets, Oliver Ekman-Larsson bobble-heads, and Jeremy Roenick bobble-heads as the top prizes for attendance last year. More importantly, the Arizona Coyotes went back in time and debuted their Kachina-style jerseys for the franchise’s first ever Throwback Night.
More From Howlin’ Hockey -> Arizona Coyotes Face Tough Opening Month Schedule
Even though each Arizona Coyotes game should draw in attendance, there are thirteen dates to especially mark on your calendar this year. Howlin’ Hockey breaks down all the promotional nights for the Arizona Coyotes this season. Along with the promotional schedule, the Arizona Coyotes released single game tickets for sale this afternoon too.
In the words of former Arizona Coyotes defenseman, Keith Yandle:

“We can’t lose on bobble-head night.”
Opening Night- October 10, 2015
The Arizona Coyotes open their play in Gila River Arena against the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 10th. The Penguins bring a star-studded lineup in to Arizona with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and newly acquired Phil Kessel. Free t-shirts for the fans are generally what is handed out for the first game.
Howl-O-Ween- October 30, 2015
This Halloween, the Arizona Coyotes will face the Vancouver Canucks. Fans are encouraged to dress up and show their Halloween spirit. Candy is generally given out to children that are ready to ‘Trick or Treat’.
Road Jersey Night- November 5, 2015
This is a new concept that was not included in last season’s promotions. A year or two ago, the Arizona Coyotes played the Los Angeles Kings in Glendale while wearing their road jerseys. That would be the best guess for this night. November 5th against the Colorado Avalanche will be seen as a “Mid-Season Whiteout” if this is true.
Hockey Fights Cancer- November 7, 2015
The annual Hockey Fights Cancer cause is back again in the desert. The Arizona Coyotes would most likely warm up in purple jerseys that would be auctioned off for the cause. Fans are encouraged to donate as the Coyotes help raise awareness during this game against the New York Rangers.
Military Night- November 12, 2015
The Arizona Coyotes salute the men and women of the armed forces on November 12th this year against the Edmonton Oilers
Throwblack Friday- November 27, 2015
That was not a typo above. The Arizona Coyotes will be back in black once again against the Calgary Flames. Mark this date on your calendar and circle it twice. The Kachina Coyote will return to the ice in Gila River Arena.
New Yotes Eve- December 31, 2015
Ring in the 2016 new year with the Arizona Coyotes this season in a game against the Winnipeg Jets. In the past, shirts were given away to the first few thousand fans for this game. Celebrate in style with the Desert Dogs.
Howler’s Birthday- January 23, 2016
Celebrate with Howler the Coyote and the Paw Patrol as our beloved mascot turns 11 years old. One may believe that since the team began in 1996, he would turn the big 2-0. However, the Arizona Coyotes did not debut a mascot until the 2005 NHL season. Either way, it will be a fun night against the Los Angeles Kings.
Valentine’s Day- February 12, 2016
Cupid and the Arizona Coyotes face off against the Calgary Flames once again in this promotional night. Bring your date and enjoy a nice night watching your home team take down Calgary.
Throwblack Night- February 20, 2016
That’s right, the Arizona Coyotes will be having another throwback night this season. This time it will be against the St. Louis Blues.
St. Paddy’s Day- March 17, 2016
Wear green or get pinched by a fellow pack member. Shirts have been given away in the past for St. Patrick’s Day so that may happen again this year. The Arizona Coyotes will do battle against the San Jose Sharks on March 17th.
Green Night- March 26, 2016
Before people get too excited, Green Night is not another throwback night. As fun as it would be for the Arizona Coyotes to wear their green alternates from the 90’s, this night is something different. Green Night will give the fans an opportunity to learn more about sustainability and conservation of the environment. The Philadelphia Flyers will be the team that comes to town that night.
Pack Pride Night- April 2, 2016
This night is all about the fans. The Arizona Coyotes will say thanks to all the fans who rode out the season with them. A few fans will be able to go down to the ice and receive jerseys off the players’ backs.
