Arizona Coyotes: Coyotes Player Grades For Week 15
After the Arizona Coyotes had their point streak snapped at seven games, the talk turned fairly quickly to goaltending.
More precisely, the conversation centered around who should have started Saturday afternoon’s game in net.
Anders Lindback got his first start since December 29th against Chicago. He promptly gave up two goals on just 16 shots. The calls for Louis Domingue started early and lasted the duration of the 2-0 loss to New Jersey.
For whatever issues they had in net or on special teams, the overall 5-on-5 play of the Arizona Coyotes was greatly improved during the previous week.
They outshot every team they faced and did everything short of put the puck in the net against Cory Schneider and the Devils.
Let’s take a look at who rose and fell last week.

I predict the Coyotes will finish this week 2-1-0 and complete their homestand with a record of 4-2-1 overall.
Monday night sees the Buffalo Sabres hit town with rookie superstar Jack Eichel in tow. The same Eichel that once seemed a virtual lock to play in Arizona.
The last time the two teams faced, the Sabres came out on top despite Domi’s two goal effort. I predict the Yotes getting revenge at home.
Thursday night the San Jose Sharks come to town. They sit just one point back of the Arizona Coyotes in the Pacific Division standings, so it is a crucial matchup.
I feel like this might be Louis Domingue’s first loss in regulation as the Sharks outscore the Coyotes in Domingue’s first “bad” game.

Saturday night he’ll be given a chance to redeem himself against the division leading Los Angeles Kings.
The boys will get the job done in a bounce back effort from Domingue, and Anthony Duclair will continue killing California teams.
Til next week.
