Arizona Coyotes Players Begin Pursuit of World Cup
All four Arizona Coyotes players participating in the World Cup of Hockey will play today in pre-tournament exhibitions.
A few specific Arizona Coyotes were left out of the World Cup of Hockey activities, but the four players who were not will all be in action on Thursday.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson’s Swedish team takes on Finland at 12:30 EST, while Martin Hanzal, Zbynek Michalek, and the Czech team square off against Russia at 12 EST.
Tobias Rieder, still unsigned by the Yotes, will skate for Team Europe against the young guns of Team North America at 8:00 PM EST.
The early games will air on ESPN 3 while the late game will air on ESPN 2.
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. Live hockey is about to return to your television screens.
There will be shots…shot, pucks passed, hits delivered, and saves made. Goals will hopefully be scored a-plenty. Our long summer nightmare is over.
Rejoice!
