With the new season quickly approaching, here are some of the top games that we believe Arizona Coyotes fans will want to tune in to watch the most!

As the Arizona Coyotes continue to make changes during the offseason, a new optimistic vibe has begun to spread around the Coyotes fanbase as excitement for the upcoming season continues to grow.

Now that a week or two has passed since the release of the Coyotes 2018-19 regular season was released, and the special events have been assigned for some of the upcoming games, it seems only right that we take a look at the top five games that every Coyotes fan should look forward to for this upcoming season.

5- Thursday, October 4th Season Opener @ Dallas Stars

With some new additions to the team, this will be the first chance that Coyotes fans will be able to catch a glimpse of their new looking team against another team that is going through plenty of changes of their own, including the addition of new head coach, Jim Montgomery.

Last season the Coyotes went 0-3 against the Stars, with the first two losses coming from a home-and-home series near the beginning of the season.

4- Saturday, October 6th Home Opener vs Anaheim Ducks

After beginning last season on the road against the Ducks, this time around the Coyotes will be hosting their Pacific division rivals for the first home game of the regular season.

Last season the Coyotes were 1-3 against the Ducks, with the solo victory following the All-Star Break as the Coyotes defeated Anaheim 2-0 in front of the Coyotes faithful fans.

After dropping their season opener 5-4 last season against the Ducks, the Coyotes will be looking to earn a different result this time around, as this will be the first time that Coyotes fans will be able to see the changes that the team has made in the offseason in person.

3- Friday, November 23rd vs Colorado Avalanche

With two teams who are have been drawing similar comparisons to each other throughout the offseason and having some bad blood last season, the first game against Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche will make for a high-octane and gritty hockey game that Coyotes fans will not want to miss.

2- Saturday, March 2nd- Turn Back the Clock Night vs Detroit Red Wings

What is better than reliving some of the best players to ever put on the Coyotes jersey?

Reliving all of them in one single night.

As if this night could not get better enough, the game itself should make for another high-octane display against the rebuilding and young Detroit Red Wings. The Coyotes young and revamped offense will be taking on newly drafted Filip Zadina and the Red Wings in a game that will be full of speed and end-to-end action all night long.

1- Sunday, February 24th – Shane Doan Jersey Retirement vs Winnipeg Jets

Last but certainly not least, will be the retirement of Mr. Coyote himself against the Winnipeg Jets. On a night that will be emotional, and will be against a top playoff contending team in the Jets, the Coyotes will be amped up to do whatever they can to come away with a victory on a night honoring the Desert hockey icon himself.
