Good Morning Arizona Coyotes fans! Welcome to the all new Howlin’ Hockey site here at FanSided! I am excited to go on this ride with you throughout the season and beyond. Let’s jump right in with your “Morning Howl Report” for October 2nd, 2019!

Yesterday the Coyotes claimed goaltender Eric Comrie off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets. With lingering injuries from Antti Raanta and Darcy Kuemper, Comrie adds stability in the Coyotes net. However carrying 3 goalies is not always the best solution for an NHL team throughout the year.

The Coyotes also announced their roster to start the season yesterday. This roster gives the Coyotes the best chance to succeed, and is a reason for optimism for Arizona fans.

Phil Kessel was spotted at the Arizona Coyotes Foundation yesterday, doesn’t he look better in the Coyotes jersey?

The team looks different since last year when they started the season. Check out a clip of the season opener from last year against the Anaheim Ducks.

Over the course of the season last year the Coyotes carried 19 players 25 years old or younger. Hopefully their young players have matured and are ready to take the next step with a playoff spot this year.

Enjoy some morning links to start your day! The season starts tomorrow for the Arizona Coyotes!
