Goaltender Antti Raanta has been sent down to Tucson for some training. Raanta has missed a lot of the preseason with an injury. Sending down Raanta cleared a position for the Coyotes. The opted to call up Adin Hill. Hill is 23 year years old, and played in 17 games last season for the ‘Yotes.
We have talked about the roster going into the new season, when the puck drops later tonight I hope all Coyotes fans can watch with hope for the new season. Considering today is a game day for the Arizona Coyotes, let’s break down a few of the logistics for tonight’s game!
Opponent : Anaheim Ducks
The Arizona Coyotes will drop the puck in Anaheim against the Ducks. The game, set for 7 PM Pacific, features two teams that failed to make the playoffs last season. In 5 games against the Ducks last year the Coyotes went 3-2 against their division rival. The Anaheim Ducks are another young team that are only a year or two behind the Coyotes in their development, so expect this game to be close to start the season.
