Arizona Coyotes Morning Howl Report for October 6th 2019
Good Morning Coyotes fans! Not much fun news to share in today’s Morning Howl Report. The Arizona Coyotes fell 1-0 against the Boston Bruins last night in their home opener. Coyotes fans were deflated after the loss and honestly I understand why.
One main issue we talked about during the preview for the home opener against the Bruins was that the Coyotes need to improve on their power play. That was the difference maker last night, as two missed power play opportunities helped sink the Coyotes to an eventual shut out loss.
Another main issue the Coyotes need to focus on is their depth scoring. Maybe that will mean spreading out the Coyotes forward lines. Rather than have one really good lines the Coyotes could have 3 good lines to compete night in and night out.
In other Coyotes news. Antti Raanta has been called up from the minor leagues after some conditioning. Raanta should be back in net for the Arizona Coyotes soon. However with how well Kuemper has played thus far it will be interesting to see who get’s the net throughout the season.
Kuemper played amazing last night and was the main reason the Coyotes remained in the game against the Boston Bruins. Moving forward the Coyotes are going to need to score goals if they want to win games. (what a concept)
The Arizona Coyotes social media accounts put this out during the game last night. They are totally right no one said it would be easy, however no one said it would be so hard to score a single goal.
