Very rarely does a team make the playoffs if they don’t go on some form of a long win streak. For the Arizona Coyotes in 2019-20 they need to find their groove to go on some form of a streak. Let’s try to find their groove for a long win streak.

The Arizona Coyotes are an interesting team, last season they only went on four win streaks that were three games or more. The Coyotes went on one – three, four, five, and six game win streak last season. Not very impressive if you ask me. They need to win more and make it more of a regularity.
I think we can all agree that the NHL is better than they were last season, it is going to take more points to make the playoffs then it did last season. I believe that the Arizona Coyotes need to try to win as many games as possibly this season, because it will take at least 95-100 points to make the playoffs this year.

All the Arizona Coyotes need to do is continue to score goals, and play well defensively. I know, easier said then done. Plus the team needs to stay healthy, which might be easier than we all thought.
Rick Rocchet has the ability to give guys a night off sometime, or maybe lighten up on a practice throughout the season. This team is playing for the playoffs right? Well if they want to win in April, May, and a given a miracle, June. The Coyotes will need to be rested now.

This is not some team that does not deserve to be in the playoffs, they need to work to get their but they should get there. It all hinges on being healthy and playing well systematically. Teams won’t look at the Coyotes as that big of a threat when they come to play Arizona.

When you are the Pittsburgh Penguins,  St. Louis Blues, or Tampa Bay Lightning, everyone comes to play to see how well they are based off of the teams that had past success. The Arizona Coyotes can just fly under the radar till February.

However if the Coyotes want to do this they will need one player to start playing better hockey. Phil Kessel has one assist and is a minus two through the first few games of the regular season. Kessel has not been the type of player the Coyotes traded for this offseason. Phil Kessel needs to step up, and now is the time to do it.

Arizona is now on a 3 game point streak, and with 2 more games coming up at home before the ‘Yotes go on a 4 game road trip now is the time to win!

The Arizona Coyotes might just streak their way into the playoffs. Watch out NHL! Arizona is coming!
