The Arizona Coyotes won again last night, and we have another Morning Howl Report to talk about all the news in Arizona!

Arizona now has a record of 3-2-1. After dropping the first two games of the season by just one goal in each game, the Coyotes are finally back on track. In the Coyotes last 4 games they have gone 3-0-1 that is very nice to think about isn’t it?

Obviously the Coyotes need to continue to build on their game last night. They played great across all aspects of the board. From the power play to the penalty kill to just five on five. Make no mistake Nashville is a very good NHL team, and Arizona made them look like Ottawa.

Nashville was out shot 32-27 tonight, and they gave up 6 penalties, about 6 too many. Arizona capitalized on 3 of them. Not bad at all! Arizona was the better team by far last night, so enjoy the win ‘Yotes fans!

There was one negative side to last nights game. Jordan Oesterle fell to an injury that looks very serious. He was hit in the back of the head with the puck just 7 seconds into tonight’s game. Hopefully Oesterle will be better soon, but it looks like he has a concussion.

Yesterday we spoke about the momentum that needed to be transferred over to the game last night. Our newest contributor Scott hit the mark there! As Arizona would go on to carry all momentum to the game last night against the Preds! (Howlin’ Hockey)

Arizona’s very own Phil Kessel finally tallied a goal tonight, he actually did it twice both on the power play. This is what he had to say after the game.

Hopefully the goals do start coming more often for Kessel. I think we are all counting on it.
