The Arizona Coyotes are back at home tonight. After a big road win a few days ago against the Buffalo Sabres Monday night the time is now to continue the winning trail.

The Montreal Canadiens are coming to town on a one-game win streak. They were in Toronto on Saturday and beat the Maple Leafs by a score of 5-2. The Canadiens are in the second game of a four-game road trip, and they want to continue their success. Montreal has a record of 5-4-2, with a great power-play percentage and weak penalty kill percentage.

The Canadiens have been led by the play of 3 players in particular. Jonathan Drouin, Brendan Gallagher, and Max Domi all have 10 points. We all remember Max Domi during his time in Arizona, but in Montreal, he has really come into his own. If the Coyotes plan to win they will need to limit the play of those three Canadiens’ players.

Montreal will be well-rested, and they have been looking at our lineup for a while now. Check out A Winning Habit for a preview from the Canadiens perspective. The Coyotes need to continue to play their game, I expect to see them come out fast and ready to play tonight against the Canadiens.

After a long road trip it is always nice to be back at home, so one big key tonight will be starting off right. The Coyotes did not have the best first period against the Sabres the other day in Buffalo. Now with the game at home it is all about scoring first.

I expect to see Clayton Keller have a big game today. Keller is set to break away here. He has 1 goal and 7 assists so far this season, and it is time for the winger to score some goals!

Let’s continue this hot-streak to start the season! The Coyotes are playing the best hockey they ever had under Rick Tocchet!
