It is game day yet again Arizona Coyotes fans! Let’s jump right in with today’s Morning Howl Report.

Last game, Antti Raanta gave up a very weak goal thanks to a skate blade popping out of his skate. This has a lot of people asking if the NHL should make a rule change to stop play, or maybe the teams should ditch these skates. (AZCentral)

Even though the Coyotes lost against the Montreal Canadiens at home the other night, they still appeared in the top 10 of NBC Sports Power Rankings. This is a big step for the Coyotes to finally push for the playoffs. Arizona is next to other contending teams at this point, and there is no reason why they can’t hang with the best and brightest. (Arizona Sports)

Yesterday we recapped one player’s “Journey to the Desert”. Although Phil Kessel has not found his scoring touch with the Coyotes just yet, he has helped push the team to new heights. He was a big reason for the month of October’s success. (Howlin’ Hockey)

The Arizona Coyotes next game will be against the Colorado Avalanche tonight at home. Colorado’s last game was against the Dallas Stars at home. The Av’s lost in large part thanks to another “lackluster performance” according to head coach Jared Bednar. (Denver Post)

We will have a full game preview for you later this afternoon, but check out some game logistics before tonight’s game!
