Today is November 3rd, 2019, and we have the Morning Howl Report to prove it. Let’s jump right in with all things Arizona Coyotes news!

The Arizona Coyotes won last night against the Colorado Avalanche. They played great and managed to get things done against a Colorado team desperately looking for a win. Sometimes teams that are losing are harder to play against because they are more desperate.

Arizona had goals from Phil Kessel, Christian Dvorak, and Conor Garland. The team played great overall, but the MVP has to be Darcy Kuemper. Kuemper made 33 saves on the night to shut out the Avalanche. The Coyotes continue to be led by great goaltending and defense.

One player that factored into the game last night was Barrett Hayton. Hayton had a great assist on the Phil Kessel goal.

Hayton has played 6 games so far with the team, and they have not decided whether or not he will go back to juniors. Our very own Trey Terry talked about the Coyotes current predicament with Barrett Hayton in a piece earlier today, check it out. (Howlin’ Hockey)

Conor Garland scored yet again last night, he now has 9 points and 7 goals this season. It will be interesting to see if the team continues to use Garland in the top 6 and whether or not he can continue to score. We actually talked about Garland’s scoring in a piece earlier this week. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Arizona Coyotes are heating up. They continue to build steam in the Pacific Division, and currently sit 4 points out of first in the division. A win last night against the Avalanche definitely does not hurt the momentum for the Coyotes. (AZCentral)

It looks as though Brad Richardson will miss a few more games. It does not look like we will be seeing him tomorrow against the Edmonton Oilers. When he is set to return we will let you know. The Coyotes are back in action tomorrow against Edmonton.
