Arizona Coyotes Morning Howl Report for November 8th 2019
Today is November 8th, 2019 and the Coyotes lost another game. The ‘Yotes have not been playing their best hockey as of late, but we have reasons not to worry!
As we said, the Arizona Coyotes lost another close game last night, this time against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Coyotes are making a habit of only losing by a goal. A few days ago it was Calgary in OT, and now yesterday against the Blue Jackets.
The ‘Yotes had no reason to win that game, however, it is never easy watching them lose. Arizona had two big goals by Carl Soderberg and Jakob Chychrun, those goals were not enough to secure a win for the ‘Yotes.
So far this month the Coyotes have gone 2-1-1, the team seems to be facing some adversity. If the Coyotes want to make the playoffs one big key to their run to the playoffs will be overcoming the adversity they are facing right now. (Howlin’ Hockey)
A few days ago the Coyotes were accused of playing “boring” hockey. When someone says something like that a team can often band together and overcome those issues. Arizona is doing just that. Even the players have something to say about being called boring. (AZ Central)
Next up on the schedule for the Coyotes is the Minnesota Wild. Minnesota will be in town tomorrow to play the ‘Yotes. This could not come at a better time for the ‘Yotes. Arizona gets another Saturday home game, something they have been very successful in recently, and the team gets a day off to rest a little.
Although the ‘Yotes have dropped two straight games I still think the Coyotes are in a very good place this season. Just give them more time to play out the month of November. At times the schedule can look like something that can not be overcome, it takes time to take things just one game at a time and not look too far ahead.
