Why fans should vote Coyotes’ Clayton Keller into the all-star game

The Arizona Coyotes are currently in the middle of a race for the playoffs, but at the same time there is a fun event coming up at the NHL all-star game, and Clayton Keller should be there for it.

Arizona already was given their NHL all-star when Darcy Kuemper was voted to the game due to his great play this season. However, that was Arizona’s only candidate, but that changed when the NHL showcased their last man in challenge.

The Coyotes had the best record almost two weeks ago, but considering the team fell off they fell in the standings. Although this team impacts the team in the standings, it also has an impact on their all-star appearance. The top teams in each division get to have their coach serve as the leader in the all-star game, that is why Arizona will not have their coach at the game. Rick Tocchet deserves to be at the game, but that’s alright, he can just spend the time preparing for the rest of the season.

The all-star weekend is a great time for players to relax and celebrate the game of hockey, Clayton Keller would represent the entire team at the big game, and I believe he deserves to be there. Keller has 30 points this season, and he has been playing great as of recently, for that and more he deserves to be at the game.

Keller went to the all-star game last season, and it was fun following him as he went through the weekend.

Either way, things are going to be great for the Coyotes. We either get to see our goalie in Darcy Kuemper, assuming he is back from injury, or we could possibly see our star, Keller. Personally I think the player who goes for Arizona should enjoy the weekend, and everyone else should use it to rest and get ready for the second half of the season.

Although the all-star game is an honor, and something fans love to watch, I think we all would rather see the Coyotes make the playoffs this spring!
