The Arizona Coyotes got a big win last night against the Philadelphia Flyers, but that win came at a price. We will discuss it all in our Morning Howl Report for January 5th, 2020.

Taylor Hall competed in his first Kachina Saturday last night, and boy it did not disappoint. Arizona at one point had a four to zero lead going into the third period. However, they ended up relinquishing two goals to make the game a little closer.

Taylor Hall ended up assisting on the game-winning goal by Clayton Keller. Keller, who tallied two goals last night, has been one of Arizona’s best players as of late. That being said there is no question in my mind that Clayton Keller should be voted to the all-star game! (Howlin’ Hockey)

The win last night came with a price, as goalie Antti Raanta left the game with an injury midway through the second period. Although it does not seem to be too serious, the injury comes at a bad time as goalie Darcy Kuemper is already out. Arizona might need to rely on Adin Hill to get the job done for at least one game, in order for Kuemper or Raanta to get back on track. (NBC Sports)

Luckily the team will have a few days to get their players healthy again. The team will start their Florida trip on Tuesday when they play the Florida Panthers. So in order to raise up in the standings, we are going to need big wins against the Panthers, Lightning, and Hurricanes before we return home next Sunday. Luckily, we have been a pretty good road team all season, so let’s see if we can get a big win on Tuesday!
