Coyotes’ fans made all the difference in latest homestand
The Arizona Coyotes are going to Florida, but they are leaving behind one of their most successful homestands of the season.
The Arizona Coyotes captured 6 out of a possible 8 points at home through the last 4 games. Although the homestand did not start great on the 29th when the Coyotes lost to the Dallas Stars, they turned things around and 3 wins later we are back on track.
Honestly, a big reason for the Coyotes wins was the fact that we have been showing up at the stadium. The Coyotes faithful has been making Gila River Arena a tough arena to play in, and that needs to continue to increase as the season goes along.
A game does not hinge on the fans, but the fans definitely can make an impact. Whether it be energizing a team that is down on the scoreboard, or by keeping them in a game that is close to the end.
Coyotes forward Lawson Crouse summed it up after the game on January 4th, against the Philadelphia Flyers.
So, although the team is currently on the road on their Florida trip hopefully the team will have this to look forward to moving forward. Maybe that was the missing link through the first half of the season. Maybe it was the fact that the Coyotes fans were not showing up in a loud fashion.
The numbers should only go up from here. Hopefully, we will have “Our Pack” behind us the entire way, as we watch the Arizona Coyotes make a run to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. How did everyone like seeing Taylor Hall in his first Kachina Saturday this weekend?
