The Coyotes lost a bad game last night to the Carolina Hurricanes. Similar to our last game, Arizona just couldn’t get anything going last night. Now Arizona has been swept in two straight games, not a very good way to pick up points in the NHL. (Yahoo Sports)
In the wake of two bad losses, you could say there are a lot of Arizona Coyotes that need to step up the rest of the way. Three specific players were addressed in an article yesterday by us. (Howlin’ Hockey)
Craziest headline from the last few days, in my opinion, was a story about trading Taylor Hall. I don’t see how we could trade Taylor Hall right after adding him, but we are just 6-6 with him on the team so maybe we would be better off without him. I honestly just bring it up to see what you all think. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments!
Some good news is coming. Antti Raanta made his return to the Coyotes tonight, and Niklas Hjalmarsson is around the corner. Hjalmarsson is rumored to play before the all-star break. Bringing him back is going to improve the team greatly defensively. Who knows maybe having Hjalmarsson back will spark the offense. I remember him scoring a goal before getting hurt.
