Today is January 13th, 2020 and we have your Morning Howl Report with all the Coyotes news you need from around the league!

The Coyotes just couldn’t get it done last night against the Pittsburgh Penguins. They battled back after going down 1-0 then 2-1, but they just couldn’t hold onto the lead after scoring with a little under 10 minutes to go in the third. (AZ Central)

Arizona didn’t play a great game last night, but they did play better than the last few games they played in and I guess that is a start. Arizona needs to start playing better consistently if they want to make the playoffs. Right now they find themselves tied for first with Calgary for the division lead, but this thing is not locked up yet.

The Coyotes had a great performance from goalie Adin Hill last night. Hill stopped 31 shots last night and was a big reason the team went to so many shoot out rounds. Hill stopped so many Pittsburgh Penguins in the shoot out, it was a shame none of his teammates could step up and score!

A few days ago you might have seen that Barrett Hayton was called up from Tucson following his stint at the World Juniors. Although Hayton is with the team do not expect him to be playing soon. Hayton is recovering from his injuries that he sustained during the World Juniors, and that is going to take some time to heal from. Rather I would expect we see Hayton in two or three weeks if that. The biggest thing right now is Hayton getting back to 100 percent! (Arizona Sports)
