Arizona Coyotes Morning Howl Report for January 14th, 2020
By Jim Lynch
Another Morning Howl Report for all your Coyotes news is finally here! Today is January 14th, 2020 and let’s dive right in!
The Arizona Coyotes have another big game tonight this time against the San Jose Sharks. Arizona is going to be facing their divisional rivals up until the all-star break so getting a big win tonight is critical to the team’s success moving forward.
Yesterday I wrote an article that received some bad reps because I was talking about the rumor about the Coyotes possible trading Taylor Hall. I mentioned different people that talked about it and why the move would be bad for the team. If you didn’t give it a read check it out, and everyone should understand I am not saying the team should trade Hall. Rather I offered my insight on the headlines I have been seeing. (Howlin’ Hockey)
The Calgary Flames lost a big game last night against the Montreal Canadians by a score of 2-0. This is huge for the Coyotes as now they will have the same amount of games played as the Flames. If a team in the Pacific Division loses right now it will just give the Coyotes an opportunity to succeed, and that is a good thing.
Tonight against the Sharks Arizona needs to play one of their best games. Luckily on the other side of the ice San Jose might be without one of their top defenders. Brent Burns is considered probable for tonight’s game. If the Sharks don’t have Burns that is just one less scoring threat the team needs to worry about. (The Mercury News)
