Darcy Kuemper has been one of the best Arizona Coyotes players all season. The Coyotes were set to make a push for the playoffs until they hit a bump in the road with Kuemper fell to an injury in the middle of December.

The Arizona Coyotes lost a valuable asset when Darcy Kuemper fell to an injury, and the team has suffered because of it. The Coyotes have won 25 games this season, and 10 of those wins came thanks to Darcy Kuemper.

Kuemper is one of the top goalies in the NHL this season and was an early candidate for the Vezina Trophy this Spring. I just hope he can make it back soon and help get the Coyotes back on track, however, the team should not rely on him.

Arizona has so many great goalies outside of Kuemper. Antti Raanta is a tested veteran, and Adin Hill is beginning to show that he belongs in the NHL. What I am trying to say is Arizona should not struggle if Kuemper is out of the net. The team has never really needed to rely on goaltending to steal games, especially when you boast such a deep blue line like the Coyotes do.

Even still I hope Kuemper will be back in the net soon, but if we learned one thing the last few days it is that he might be out for a little while longer. Arizona recently recalled Adin Hill again from the AHL, just check out what Craig Morgan of the Athletic said on the matter.

Hopefully, Kuemper will be back in the net soon, as the team could use his help just about now. Kuemper is currently having his best season with his save percentage at .929, the highest of his career.

For Kuemper’s play so far this season I give him an A- grade, hopefully, he will be back soon to add to his already two shut outs this season. Until then the Coyotes will have to use Adin Hill and Antti Raanta in the net!
