The Arizona Coyotes failed to get things done again last night, and honestly, I am beginning to sound like a broken record.

Here are a few things I actually said to myself last night during the game, “at least they didn’t give up the lead to lose it all”, “maybe we can get something for Hall”, and “I wonder if we will ever score a power-play goal again”. Now there is a lot to unpack there.

The Arizona Coyotes let us all down again last night. They can’t keep expecting to stand a chance in the standings when they are losing the necessary games they need to win to survive. You would think that a home Sunday game against a team that has not played in over a week would be an advantage, well not the case for the Coyotes.

Our Pack has failed soo much since returning from the all-star break that they now have goals like winning one of their next three games instead of winning all three. Honestly, I wonder if the team is starting to worry about their jobs. This is been a bad month, and it is not something that you can ignore much longer.

I hope people do not expect Darcy Kuemper to walk in and magically fix this team. Kuemper is a great goaltender, but that does not change the fact that no goalie can protect this team from the bad turnovers and the bad special teams’ numbers the Coyotes are pulling.

Imagine if the Coyotes scored on just one of their many power plays last night. This game would have ended with a ‘Yotes win instead of the result we got. I know that involves hypotheticals but at the same time, you can’t be upset when you lost when you had an opportunity to change the game and failed.

Luckily we still have 29 more games this season to try and turn this thing around. Everyday we get closer to them being out of the playoffs so something has to change fast.
