The Arizona Coyotes have captured three out of their last four points, and while the team has not been amazing their goaltending has.

Adin Hill has done everything he can to help secure a Coyotes win the last few games. Last night Hill took the net following a great performance by Antti Raanta against the Montreal Canadians that ended with a Coyotes win. Hill followed suit with a great performance of his own, which ended with the Coyotes securing one point in an overtime loss.

Adin Hill made 38 saves on 41 shots last night, and while the team could not win the game, they did play relatively well. I know that we have been speaking down on the Coyotes as of late, and saying how they are basically out of the playoffs, but the fact remains that this team has been playing to the best of their ability.

There is always room for improvement, and I hope they continue to hit their stride down the stretch. Edmonton is not looking great due to an injury to Connor McDavid, I do not care how good of a team they are losing McDavid is going to show up on the scoreboard at some time. While the Coyotes do not face off against the Oilers again this season, I do think we need to take advantage of their team losing a star.

Arizona needs to win now in order to make up some ground in the standings, and that starts with Adin Hill and the defense. Arizona is a defensive first team, we saw what can happen when we play at our best defensively against Montreal, we also saw what happens when we play poorly in our own end against Boston.

The Coyotes need everyone at their best in order to win, Hill and Raanta are showing that Darcy Kuemper is not the only Coyotes goaltender that can win games, and now it is up to the team to follow suit!

The Coyotes are back in action tomorrow night against the Ottawa Senators in a game that can be considered a must-win considering how far down Ottawa is in the standings.

Adin Hill has been very impressive as of late, and I hope the Coyotes can keep him in the NHL for the full season next year. The years of Raanta and Kuemper as a duo might be drawing to a close as we get Adin Hill rising in the organization!
