How many wins do the Arizona Coyotes need to make the playoffs
The Arizona Coyotes have just 20 more games to go this season, and they still do have a long way to go in order to make the playoffs.
The Arizona Coyotes currently have a 30-24-8 record giving them 68 points. 68 points tie the Coyotes with the Calgary Flames and put them just one point behind the Vancouver Canucks. We have just been locked within the final wildcard for a while, and that is alright as long as we can make the playoffs.
Recent history has shown that it is going to take between 92 to 94 points to make the playoffs. I see this as doable for the Coyotes as long as they can continue to spring some wins together. We are on a two-game win streak right now, while that is a great start we can not stop there because the Coyotes are going to need a good record through the final 20 games.
The Coyotes are going to need 25 points to reach the magic number of 93 points this season. While this is possible, the team is going to need to play at a high level. You can split up 25 points a lot of different ways through 20 games, but basically, at the end of the day, we need to win 12 or 13 of our next 20 games. We can have a record of 12-7-1 or 13-7-0 and make the playoffs, or we can play even better. However, if we drop further down than 12 wins we are going to struggle at making the playoffs.

Basically the Arizona Coyotes are going to need to play a little above 500 hockey throughout the rest of the season in order to play for the Stanley Cup for the first time since 2012. I know we would all love to see this team in the playoffs, and I think it can be done just look at how the team has played the last few games.
The Arizona Coyotes are currently on a two-game win streak. As long as we continue to take things in the right direction and taking things one game at a time then things can work out!
