‘Yotes Notes:
- It’s so frustrating to see teams like the Devils who were rebuilding recently turn it around in a few seasons, unlike the Coyotes. Arizona has basically been rebuilding since the Western Conference Finals in 2012, minus a season or two under former GM Jon Chayka. It really shows how much the front offices in place and ownership turmoil have negatively impacted this franchise.
- Ingram has been inconsistent throughout the season, and he was shaky in this one as well. It’s a big part of why the Coyotes should pair a veteran goalie with Vejmelka next season.
- The Coyotes were down deep early but kept fighting and forced OT. Unfortunately, they end up losing this one.
