Arizona Coyotes Cast As Star Wars Heroes And Villains

It’s May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, and in a desert galaxy far, far away we’re casting the Arizona Coyotes as some of the iconic characters from the films.

It’s May the 4th here in the desert and the Arizona Coyotes are out golfing or otherwise soaking up the rays.

The playoff dream didn’t quite manifest, but somewhere in a desert galaxy far, far away, our favorite players and villains are gearing up for an intergalactic conflict.

A cursory glance at the Coyotes roster (past and present) can help draw some quick parallels between a few of the Yotes and some of the prominent figures in the galaxy.

Who is the daydreamer that ultimately discovers his destiny and battles the Dark Side? Which player is lovable scoundrel Han Solo? What about the new heroes, Finn and Rey? Everyone loves the droid trio – R2-D2, C3P0, and BB-8 – but do they have parallels wearing the Coyotes crest?
