Jamie Benn Escapes Suspension By The NHL

To the great dismay of Phoenix Coyotes players and their fans, there has been no talk of Jamie Benn of the Dallas Starts receiving a suspension for his flagrant use of his head to deliberately injure the elbow of Coyote Captain Shane Doan. Shane, being the martyr that he is, took the 3 games and loss of salary to save Benn. Shane continues to give and sacrifice for others. Just last week Shane donated $2500 to the Player’s Emergency Assistance Fund. This week, knowing that there is real hurting going on to former players with a gallon of gasoline reaching $4.00 a gallon, has generously contributed $166,000 to the fund. God Bless Shane Doan.
In the video presentation by Brendan Shanahan, he uses doctored video to make it seem like Shane deliberately use his right elbow to injure Jamie Benn. I haven’t seen video this good since Avatar. When did James Cameron get on the NHL payroll?
