Super mascot Howler and the mix1 1 Paw Patrol promotional team will be there to party with fans. Food and beverages will also be available. For more information call 480-563-PUCK (7825).
I know I’ll be there! I mean it’s my birthday too, so how can I lose? Getting to meet the young prospects who can transform this team into an exciting, fast, entertaining entity will be fascinating to experience.
Brendan Perlini scored one goal in four games with the AHL Portland Pirates, and showed some good speed and agility. He has recovered from his hand injury, and is looking forward to trying to make the lineup when he attends training camp in September. He is competing against some other young prospects like Domi, Dvorak, and perhaps whomever the Arizona Coyotes select with their third overall pick in the draft.
Max Domi – What more can you say about an exciting, young, dazzling forward which hasn’t already been stated? He showed that one more year in juniors was an excellent decision made by the Arizona Coyotes management team. He matured also, and was elected to be captain of his London Knights team, showing his leadership qualities. The sky’s the limit for this young man, and I am so excited to be seeing him perform in a Coyotes uniform (new or old) next season. Let’s take it to the MAX, Max !
Connor Murphy – Murphy played a very physical style of defense, and is developing well. He partnered with John Moore who was acquired in the N.Y. Rangers trade for Keith Yandle, while the two played defense on Team USA at the IIHF recently. He has great potential, and the Arizona Coyotes envision him as a solid blue-liner who can only improve with experience. He may look like a boy, but he plays like a man.
Christian Dvorak – Coming out of the OHL while playing for the London Knights, with his team-mate Max Domi. Dvorak excelled with 41 goals, 68 assists, in 66 games. This is the kind of sniper-like scorer the team was missing when Radim Vrbata decided to sign with the Canucks. He may not be quite ready to break into the NHL, but he performs well at training camp, anything can happen. GM Don Maloney needs to improve this team, and FAST.
Here’s the promotional video, which is really well done:
